PIQUE SCUBA MOUNTAIN PARKA

Today we would like to introduce the PIQUE SCUBA MOUNTAIN PARKA.

This mountain parka is made from lightweight cardboard material with a fine ripple-like surface texture.

It comes in three colors: GREIGE, OCEAN BLUE, and ASPHALT, and when I saw the OCEAN BLUE in the store, I personally felt that spring was already here.

The material is not too thin, but rather has just the right thickness.
It’s thick enough to give your silhouette a nice, popping look when you wear it.

The stretchy and soft material makes it very easy to move around in, and it’s not as heavy as it looks, so you can wear it for long periods of time without feeling stressed.

The lining is made of highly breathable dot air material developed by Toray, so it doesn’t get stuffy easily.
CURLY&Co. mountain parkas have a different feel to outdoor parkas.

This is because of the clear impression of the material and the hidden dot buttons on the front and cuffs, which make it easy to match with neat and tidy outfits.
The front is a double type with hidden dot buttons and a zipper.

It comes up to your neck, so you can enjoy opening it to suit when it’s a little chilly or to match your outfit of the day.
There is also a cord on the inside of the hood that connects to the front.
You can adjust this to suit your preference and the temperature.

Next up are the pockets.
There is a patch pocket with darts on the front that makes use of the firm material, and there is a seam pocket on the side.

The patch pocket has a hidden dot button so you don’t have to worry about losing something.

There is also a zippered pocket on the inside of the chest.
If you don’t have much to carry when you go out, these pockets might be all you need.

There is a hidden drawstring at the hem.
You can wear it straight as is, or with a slightly rounded edge.
On rainy or windy days, you can tighten the hem to prevent air from getting in.

Finally, here’s a subtle part of the PIQUE SCUBA MOUNTAIN PARKA that I like…
It’s how the chest area is connected with a separate piece of fabric.

You could say that this is divided, and by joining the parts (at the switching line), the item as a whole doesn’t look too sleek.
Of course, there are practical touches like the drawstring and pockets, but I think this kind of visually subtle touches make it a typical CURLY&Co. item.
